Do you only work in Leicester?
No. We are based in Leicester, but we cover weddings and events all over the UK and abroad.
Do you DJ Indian and Asian weddings?
Yes, this is our speciality. We cover the full wedding, from Mehndi and Sangeet nights to the Baraat, the ceremony and the reception.
Can you play music during the religious ceremony?
Yes. We time religious songs to each part of the ceremony and work with your priest on the day so every moment runs smoothly.
Do you cover civil ceremonies?
Yes. We provide music for civil ceremonies as well as the reception afterwards.
Do you provide a host or MC?
Yes. We can provide an experienced host to run the evening, make announcements and keep your guests involved.
What equipment do you bring?
Our reception setup includes professional speakers with subwoofers, wash moving head lights and a DJ booth. You can also add a custom printed booth front with your names or logo.
Do you offer dance floors and special effects?
Yes. We offer custom dance floors in 16x16 and 20x20 sizes, in white gloss, black gloss, gold mirror or silver mirror finishes. We also offer an LED video wall, spark machines (a minimum of two per event) and low fog for your first dance.
Do you DJ corporate events?
Yes. We work at corporate events, exhibitions and private parties, and we also provide production lighting.
How much does a wedding DJ cost?
In the UK, a professional wedding DJ typically costs between £850 and £2,200, and premium services with a host, full lighting and special effects sit at the top of that range. The final price depends on your date, venue, how many hours you need and the extras you choose, such as dance floors, spark machines or low fog. Multi-day Asian weddings, including Mehndi, Sangeet and ceremony, are quoted as a package. See our Gold, Ruby, Ignite and Custom packages, or send us your details for a personal quote.
How do I book?
Contact us at info@ignitiondjs.co.uk with your date, venue and type of event. To secure your date, we take a 60% reservation fee, which is non-refundable.
When is the balance due?
The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your event.
What happens after I book?
We send you a welcome pack with our terms and conditions and everything you need to know before your big day.
Are you insured?
Yes, Ignition DJs is fully insured.
Can we choose our own music?
Yes. We plan your music with you so your day sounds exactly how you want it.
